J Lou Architects renovated and revitalized this historically significant hotel from the inside out with the intent to restore and reengage this neighborhood icon to its community and to remind visitors that this once forgotten and poorly maintained building is still viable and beautiful.

Art Deco Morgan Adams Building along Wilshire Boulevard was designated by Richard D. King in 1929 and was built to complement the retail in the immediate vicinity such as The Ambassador Hotel, The Gaylord’s HMS Bounty, Wilshire Galleria, The Bullock’s Wilshire Department Store, and Chapman Market.
