Built in 1926, The Hotel Normandie is a four-story Spanish Colonial Revival hotel with a spacious lobby, ballroom, ground level retail spaces and ninety-four guest rooms on the upper three levels. The Normandie’s original architects were Albert Walker & Percy Eisen, who designated numerous landmark buildings in Los Angeles in the 1920s and 30s such as the Fine Arts Building and the Gaylord Apartments. JLA put forth its extensive experience in historic renovation to return this building to its formal glory. 90 years after its original construction, the Los Angeles Conservancy awarded its 2016 Preservation Award to Hotel Normandie.
