Originally a veteran memorial and community center, JLA is in the process of renovating and preserving the building after extensive water damage that has caused foundation and structural damage. This project includes waterproofing and mold remediation for severe water damage that has caused the building to sink on the south side. Further renovations include a plan to improve ADA accessibility and basement and bathroom restorations.
