Work on this project included construction administration and design of exterior elements. Eight historic bungalows were preserved at the east end of the site and were renovated to retain the historic fabric of the neighborhood. All units are arranged around communal green spaces and are accessed directly from the courtyard or street. Jingbo Lou originally worked on this project while at Moule and Polyzoides, then was contracted to work on 8 of the Bungalows through JLA (see below).

Fair Oaks has received a number of awards including two Golden Nugget Awards, Affordable Homeownership Project of the Year from SCANPH, and Project of the year by Affordable Housing Finance.
